Tanzania Responds to CNN Documentary on Election-Related Killings

 The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has officially acknowledged a documentary released by CNN that alleges police were involved in the killing of Tanzanian citizens during the October 29, 2025 election period.

In a public notice dated 21st November 2025, the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports stated that the government has “taken note” of the video and is currently reviewing and verifying all the claims presented.
